Sense of Humor

Israel is a funny country. Funny in many senses of the word. I'll leave this thought for later entries but for now I wanted to point out my friend Matt's blog. He describes the sense of humor that you need to have when living here because of how "funny" it gets. Go, read, make him write more.
Also, here's a funny commercial of cable network YES starring Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
To translate it loosely, Ahmadinejad notifies his brethren that Iran has nuclear bomb and on Monday it's "goodbye, Israel". Then somebody raises a question as to why it needs to be on Monday since it's a day when an Israeli sitcom is broadcast on YES. Then mayhem ensues as people sing about injustice of missing their favorite TV programs.


We've been laughing for a long time and will keep doing it because there's no other way. Because too often we have to cry.
